About Us
About Us
Like many others, Allie started baking in 2020 during COVID. She baked almost weekly, learning new recipes by watching others online. Her business first started when one of her mom's friends came up with the idea to order a surprise birthday cake (the first photo below) for his wife. Since then, Allie named her bakery Sweetz Bakery, and she has been expanding the business and selling desserts to more and more customers.
Fifteen-year-old Allie is the main baker. She has always dreamed of having her own business, and now her dream has come true! She makes all of the desserts, designs the website, and teaches her own Summer Camps and Classes. En-Yi, her mother, is Allie's agent. She communicates with customers and campers' parents, buys ingredients, provides advice, takes photos, and helps Allie whenever she needs it. Lastly, Pin-En, Allie's father, helps out by washing the bucketload of dishes at the end of the day (which makes him veeeery grumpy). Without the family's teamwork, the business would not succeed!
