Continuing on with our lemon theme, this month's dessert is a fresh take on one of Allie's bestsellers, her lemon tarts. Made for Allie's parents' friend's 50th birthday, these customizable letter and number tarts are the perfect way to celebrate special occasions. Similar to her lemon tarts, these letters contain Allie's signature crispy, flaky tart crust. Instead of a rose swirl on the top, there are layers of homemade lemon curd in between the crust, creating an evenly sweet yet tart taste in every bite.
This vibrantly yellow lemon bar features an intense yet refreshing lemon curd, made from several Meyer lemons, often considered the best lemons. The lemon curd sits on top of a rich and buttery shortbread crust, and is finally covered by a thin layer of powdered sugar. A friend of Allie's requested this cake for her birthday, so Allie fulfilled her wish! The cake is Allie's signature chiffon, a fluffy, cloud-like version of normal cake. It sandwiches a thick layer of fresh strawberries and cream, and is also topped with more whipped cream in any color you may desire! Decorated with Jellycat's signature brown legs and smiley face, this is one of the cutest cake Allie has made.

Allie's favorite type of cake: angel food cake! Although sweeter than normal chiffon cake, it is fluffier and melts in your mouth; the best way to describe its texture is that of a cloud. The light and airy texture is what gave it its name: "food of the angels." Topped with tart berries, the mix of sweet and sour makes this dessert even more delectable.
Every caffeine lover's favorite: tiramisu! Homemade ladyfingers (don't worry, they aren't made from Allie's fingers!) dipped in Allie's dad's freshly brewed high-grade espresso, send a bold, pleasantly bitter flavor to your taste buds. If you don't like coffee, like Allie, the cakey ladyfingers can be infused in milk instead. The ladyfingers are layered with an indulgent mascarpone cream, then topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder. To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, we baked up Sweetz Bakery’s very own mooncakes — filled with smooth red bean paste, homemade salted egg yolks, and an optional touch of crunch from walnuts or pine nuts. Not too sweet, not too heavy — just a lighter, happier twist on the classic mooncake! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
When you think of banana bread, you might think of a stale, dense loaf sitting in your pantry, forgotten. But Allie's banana bread will exceed your expectations and set a high standard for all of your future banana breads to be eaten! How do we know this? A customer ordered two, then came back the next day and ordered another four! Her banana bread has that crispy coat on the outside, but it is moist, soft, and fluffy on the inside.
Very simple, very delicious. The perfect dessert for peach season, this tart has both white peaches and yellow peaches. Similar to our apple tart, it features a crispy and buttery tart base, but with peach slices instead of apple slices. This dessert was inspired by our visit to Taiwan, when we realized that the peaches imported from the USA were sold a an absolute PREMIUM. So after we returned, why not make the dessert of the month with these sweet, juicy, and affordable seasonal incredients?
Salted caramel is a timeless flavor that everyone enjoys. Now added onto our list of macaron flavors, this fan favorite sandwiches caramel sauce and salty buttercream between macaron cookies. It’s like a cozy caramel hug for your taste buds!
Allie's latest creation, 'peach ring macaron', adds a twist to her regular peach macarons, inserting a whole peach ring gummy along side the peach butter cream. Very chewy and tangy, every kid (and grown-up, like my mom) will love this dessert.
This dessert may look like a chiffon cake… but plot twist! It’s actually our signature Japanese cheesecake in disguise. In addition, Allie gave it a fun makeover: instead of the usual hidden layers, this beauty proudly shows off its fluffy cheesecake base, puffs of fresh whipped cream, and juicy whole strawberries. It’s a Japanese twist on our classic chiffon strawberry cake — and if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out.
This dessert, designed originally for Allie's uncle and aunt's anniversary, has now become one of her favorites. It has three layers-- a crispy graham cracker base, followed by dark chocolate and white chocolate cheesecake. Happy New Year! The new year brings new twists- this month's Dessert of the Month features new flavors for our best selling desserts. We now have oolong, earl grey, and blueberry (in addition to original and matacha) burnt Basque cheesecakes, as well as oolong, matcha, blueberry, and strawberry frostings (in addition to vanilla and chocolate) for cupcakes/mini cupcakes. All flavors are natural, without artificial coloring, and already approved and praised by our loyal customers :)

Inspired by the Parisian dessert Mont Blanc, this is a chestnut cake. Inside is our signature chiffon cake, in the shape of a dome, layered with chestnut bits and Chantilly cream. It is then covered with chestnut puree to create a elegant wooly-mammoth look (as Allie calls it...once you see it once, you won't be able to get it out of your mind ;-;). Topped with raspberries and candied chestnuts, it gives off a Christmassy look, perfect for the holiday season.
This is another mousse flavor in addition to our current ones; strawberry, mango, matcha, and now blueberry! We buy the freshest blueberries and turn them into a homemade blueberry jam (made by Allie!) and combine it with yogurt to make three different shades of mousse. It is a healthy yet delicious dessert, perfect for people who enjoy sweets in a balanced way.
For our friends who have never tried taro, it is an earthy root vegetable that has a subtle yet distinct flavor that can be made into savory dishes as well as sweet treats. In this exquisite dessert, taro is steamed and made into a smooth and creamy mixture, then piped on a buttery and flaky tart crust in an elegant rosette shape, similar to our lemon tarts.
